Truly a huge achievement for all of the volunteers and fund raisers who spent the past year making the park possible for our residents and pet friendly vacation rental guest. Volunteers raised a impressive $38,928 which was matched by $30,000 in city funding to go towards the construction of the park.

The roughly acre-and-a-half park sits at the intersection of Indian Bayou Drive and Commons Drive and has separate parks for big dogs and small dogs. The park will be open each day from Dawn until Dusk.

So for our Destin pet friendly rental guest to get to the park take hwy 98 heading west towards Fort Walton Beach, go past the Walmart Shopping center, Turn left between the Palms and Bubba Gump Shrimp, go straight at the round about, the dog park will be on your left.
