Destin lovers know that the area is a great place to visit for any occasion-so how about celebrating Dear Old (or Young!) Dad with a trip to the beautiful emerald coast?

There’s many things for dad to enjoy in and around the Destin area, so if you’re looking for some ideas, here’s a few:

Take Dad on a Fathers Day Lunch Cruise

Bring your father aboard and treat him to a special Fathers Day menu and    impeccable service.  With 5,300 square feet of passenger space, two   climate controlled dining salons, full service galley, full service cash bar and live entertainment, aboard the SOLARIS you can leave your worries in the wake.

Take Dad for a Steak Dinner

Known mainly for it’s Irish Pub fare and fun Irish atmosphere (complete with live bag pipers!) McGuires Irish Pub (in Destin across from Harbor Walk) also offers some of the BEST steaks in the city.

McGuires also hosts an impressive bar menu and the atmosphere is fun for all ages!

Take Dad for a day of Deep Sea Fishing

Many chartered deep sea fishing services are offered in Destin.  A great charter is Big John Charters.

The Charter Boat Big John, and their other Charter Boat the One Mo’r both specialize in Deep Sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Trigger and most other species of fish found in the Gulf of Mexico. Big John also offers site fishing for Cobia when in Season.

No matter what you decide to do to celebrate dad on his special day, we hope you and dad have a safe and wonderful time on the emerald coast!

To all the fathers out there, we at Beach Condos in Destin wish you a happy and relaxing day!
