15 Great Dining Experiences in Miramar Beach FL
15 Great Dining Experiences in Miramar Beach FL
While you likely know Miramar Beach because of our Miramar Beach Rental
Condos, the beautiful beaches, and the idyllic setting of Scenic Gulf Drive,
the area is well known for its restaurant scene. The area’s best restaurants
offer a range of delectable cuisines that keep locals and tourists returning
for more.
Yet, just like with our condo rentals, choosing the perfect restaurant can
seem daunting. (Side note: If you are struggling with your vacation rental,
feel free to call me at 850-269-3342, and I will help narrow it down to the
perfect place!) This blog is here to help!
Relax, and let me guide you to the unforgettable culinary
adventures that the best restaurants in Miramar Beach have to offer. Some of
these restaurants made the list more for where they are located, like Solaris
dinner cruises or the crab trap and Whales Tale, but all these places have truly
delicious meals. I will add my humble suggestion to each.
Fat Clemenza’s/ Mama Clemenza’s
Mama Clemenza’s breakfast offers a variety of breakfast dishes with European influences. Fat Clemenza’s nighttime with delicious pasta options (Bolognese is my personal favorite)

Mama Clemenza’s is awesome and hard to beat for unique flavors. The
prosciutto and honey… WOW, French quiches, cheese blintzes, sweets and
savory and back again; it’s good.
If you want something to eat for brunch, we recommend the Classic Hot
Italian Sandwich.
The Croque Madame breakfast sandwich, which is distinctly French, will stick
in your mind.
The open-faced sandwich made by Mama Clemenza, topped with egg, prosciutto,
Gruyere cheese and creamy bechamel sauce will leave you happy but not.
overstuffed.

5. Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar
Tommy Bahamas might have you thinking of colorful Hawaiian prints and home décor, but here in Miramar Beach, it should also have you thinking of food—delicious food at that. Located at Grand Blvd, Tommy Bahamas is one of my personal favorite happy hour locations.
Popular Dishes to Try
My Favorite dish here is the Ahi Tuna Nachos, which has almost a Tuna Poke vibe and flavor. The coconut shrimp from Tommy Bahama served with a papaya-mango chutney, is delicious and gets glowing reviews from diners.

Pompano Joe’s, well, you will see them mentioned on our site repeatedly, with good reason. Atmosphere, it’s hard to get better than this. Beach Front with a great view and that coastal Caribbean esque type vibe. Also, proximity, if you are staying at most of our condo complexes in Miramar Beach Leeward Key, Maravilla, Beach Retreat, Beach Resort, Mediterranea, and Ciboney, you know by now how easy it is to walk to Pompano Joe’s and enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food. Admittedly Pompano Joe’s is not winning a Michelin star rating anytime soon, but they have so many options that make for an enjoyable time and experience.
Popular Dishes to Try
When we come here, my dad gets seafood gumbo. If you are looking for something shareable, get the Seafood Nachos. These are massive and more than enough food for two people.

Aegean Greek Restaurant is a classic Greek restaurant that serves breakfast and dessert in a relaxed atmosphere with Mediterranean paintings.
One of the only Greek restaurants in town besides the brand-new Bosforos (which I have yet to try). There are many options, such as steaks, pasta, sandwiches, and more. Coconut Pie is amazing. The Lamb Tenderloin is like no other. It is deliciously marinated and grilled, cooked over a skewer, and served with pita bread and tzatziki over rice.

Whale’s Tail Is a back beachside Dive restaurant and bar. I like their tacos and the grilled seafood (I’m not a fan of fried food, so I imagine it’s pretty good at any of the places on the list, but it’s just not my thing). The Whale’s Tail is a super easy walk from Majestic Sun rentals.
Remember to sample a Key Lime Colada, a perfect match for seafood and truly a tropical delight.
