Leeward Key practically sits on the city limits line between Destin and Miramar Beach on laid back Scenic Gulf Drive. If you’ve been to the area, you’ve seen it – one of the tallest buildings around with 12 floors. While this is a high rise, with only 6 units per floor it still has that small boutique complex feel. Leeward Key features 70 units, including 2-bedroom/2-bath options and 4-bedroom/3-bath options.

We manage the largest number of units at Leeward Key and we are beyond happy to help the other owners and our guest. There is a lot to be said about knowing the complex inside out, Renee and I each own a unit ourselves and have remodeled many for our owners. Leeward Key 502 was outstanding! The gorgeous 5th floor views from living room and master bed are breathtaking. Furnishings are as shown in pictures and all tasteful and very comfortable . Mattresses were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for staying in for meals to enjoy the views from the condo. Beach service at beach a definite plus! And beachside pool was an added bonus to watch sunsets ! Parking easy and plentiful. The staff at Beach Condos in Destin were great to work with ! No complaints at all on Leeward Key 502.
First time staying here. We are frequent Miramar Beacher’s. Beach access/service was great. Nice having pool near beach and another at condos. Staff kept outside clean , elevators clean, etc. No issues with the place, will probably become our “go to”.
Our first of many returns to Leeward Key at Mirimar Beach, FL. We booked 804 (Wild Blue Yonder) for our most recent visit to the Destin area and could not be more pleased! The amenities were perfect ranging from 1 complimentary set of beach chairs w/ umbrella, pool entry and a private beach access platform. While we did not take advantage of the gas grills, several patrons made good use of them. Vast amount of parking was available and the use of two elevators to the higher floors made it simple enough. The room was spacious with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, comfortable beds with a balcony view of the gulf. Anthony managed the chairs/umbrellas on the beach and did a phenomenal job, while Laura was exemplary in assisting us during our stay! Our only regret was not finding this spot earlier in our visits to Destin. Booked a rental car so access to a plentiful amount of shops, grocery stores and restaurants was a breeze. Already looking at booking Leeward Key again for next year’s trip to Destin!
We were able to enjoy our time at this condo. The condo itself was beautiful and had the amenities we needed to be comfortable. The short walk to the beach was the biggest perk. We appreciated the wristbands to enter and leave the beach and pool areas, it was convenient. We were a little disappointed with the sofa bed. It had crumbs on it and the mattress was stained. The sofa itself and the swivel chairs were also decently stained. Overall we enjoyed our time and would definitely book again.
This is the third year we have stayed at Leeward Key Unit 502. It is beautiful, spotless, offers a gorgeous view of the beach, and is quiet. Every year when we walk inside, the condo smells so clean and fresh and looks pristine. We love both pools for our kids and the location of the condo is perfect. I wish I could give 10 stars for this beautiful condo!
We have stayed in 1203 at Leeward Key twice now. It is a beautiful condo with an amazing view. The hosts are always so accommodating and helpful. The location is great too. You can walk to many restaurants such as Captain Dave’s and Kenny D’s and the food is always so good.
We loved our winter stay at Leeward Key, Unit 1002 for 7 days in February 2025. Arriving from Ohio, the units decor and artworks finnished in colors of ocean seagreen/blue, lifted our winter weary spirits from the moment we entered. The kitchen and baths were high end luxury, the household assessories were thoughtfully provided and complete, and the coastal furnishings exquisite. During our stay, the sunrise/sunset views from the balcony were magnificent. During the day sunshine warmed into the 70s, and we were able to lounge comfortably at their private poolside right on the beach. Definitely, will plan our next winter escape here!
