Kenny D’s Beach Bar & Grill
Closest condos: Leeward Key, Beach Retreat, Maravilla
Located right next to Leeward Key (like literally next door!), Kenny D’s is a laid-back New Orleans-style restaurant that locals and repeat guests rave about. Think blackened fish, po’boys, gumbo, and signature hurricanes with a kick. Bonus: they’ve got a pet-friendly patio—just like many of our condos!
Captain Dave’s on the Gulf
Closest condos: Leeward Key, Beach Retreat, Maravilla
Perched on the beach and serving up Gulf-front views for days, Captain Dave’s is ideal for a sunset dinner. This is the spot for upscale seafood with casual vibes—try the Grouper Parm or their famous Crab Cakes. You can be from condo to cocktail in five minutes flat.
Sandos
Closest condos: Leeward Key, Beach Resort, Beach Pointe
Newly opened in 2025 sandos has great morning brews and lunch time sandwiches and snacks. even better than that I am hearing reports about the delicious cocktails in the evening from the observation deck.
ps. for our pet friendly crowd, sandos is a great place to stop and enjoy the scenery with your pup.

Miramar Plaza Dining Options:
In the mood for some variety? Chinese, Thai, Greek and Japanese. A short three block walk from Crystal View and Mediterranea, a slight longer walk from our other properties but still under 1 mile from maravilla and ciboney. These are some terrific options and especially good ones to consider if you are looking for golf cart friendly options.
Aegean: Delicious Greek Food, This place has been around the destin area for a long time but recently moved to this location in Miramar beach. I love the chicken or lamb kabobs and I always start with a order of the roasted red pepper dip.
SushiMoto: This is a local favorite. Considered by many to be the best Sushi in Destin, Andy and his team at Sushi moto stay busy. This is the kind of small business and operation where your patience is appreciated and a testy temper wont go very far. The website alone tells it like it is, 1. They can close early and likely will if they are slow, 2. If your not nice, they don’t have to serve you, 3. No takeout during busy times. Honestly I have not had anything i do not love here. Trust the process and maybe don’t try to go if feeling Hangry.
Talay Thai: Destin and Miramar Beach have a strong Thai food scene, with several well-loved Thai restaurants. With so many great options, only standout spots tend to thrive — which means visitors are treated to consistently excellent Thai cuisine. Talay Thai is a spectacular choice. Even if you THINK you do not like thai food, give this place a chance.
Dynasty Chinese: Temporarily closed as of this post but I have a strong feeling they will be back and soon.
Pompano Joe’s Seafood House
Closest condos: Maravilla, Mediterranea, Crystal View, Ciboney
Just a short stroll along Scenic Gulf Drive, Pompano Joe’s is a Destin classic with a Caribbean twist. The jerk shrimp, mahi tacos, and fruity frozen drinks make this a must-visit. It’s colorful, casual, and perfect for families or couples looking for fun beachy vibes and live music.
Chick-fil-A (Yes, Really!)
Closest condos: Majestic Sun Condos, Seascape
Sometimes, you just need some waffle fries and a frosted lemonade. For our guests staying at Majestic Sun, Chick-fil-A is a quick walk across the street. It’s ideal for grab-and-go breakfast before hitting the sand, or a late-night nugget run after a long beach day. Don’t judge—it’s vacation!
