Best Brunch Destin

Running a family-owned and operated vacation rental company means we work 6 to 7 days a week most of the year.  With few chances to relax, Sunday afternoon Brunch is one of my favorites in Destin.   Here is a list of my Top 3 Destin brunch places and my “go-to order” for each.

1. Harry T’s in Harborwalk village

Harry T’s is the perfect combination of coastal and traditional brunch deliciousness. Be sure to ask to be seated on the patio for stunning views of the harbor in Destin.  Enjoy a complimentary breakfast sweets basket or indulge in a bottomless Mimosa.  If you crave seafood when you come to the coast, be sure to try the Crab Cake Hollandaise or the Seafood Omelet.

2. McGuires Irish Pub

My word, could they give you enough food here? Seriously, you are being fed from the moment you sit down till the moment you leave. This is hands down the best brunch deal around.
With each brunch purchase, you are eligible to receive a complimentary hot or cold Irish Coffee (21 years old and up). Enjoy piping hot Beignets, fluffy and messy with powdered sugar, just like they make in the French Quarter.
For libations, you might want to spring for a taxi with $3 regular Bloody Marys, $6 bottomless Champagne or Mimosa, and Irish Coffee. It is easy to make a day of it. My Brunch menu favorites are the Breakfast Burger and the Eggs Killarney.

3. 790 on the Gulf

What an amazing view. Directly on Scenic Gulf Drive beach, enjoy endless Mimosas or Bellinis for $10 with a brunch entree. My favorite menu items are the Shrimp and Grits or Shrimp and Andouille Sausage Omelet. Above all else, bring your sunglasses, soak up the sun, and relax in the breeze from the amazing beachfront patio.
