Through your support, bookings, referrals, reviews, and social shares, 2022 was a very memorable year to reflect on. We sincerely hope you came away with epic vacation memories and funny stories!

You asked why our properties didn’t quite match our online presence so…. As a business, our focus in 2022 was to consolidate the online brand and booking experience to make things easier for YOU, our “customer experience architects.”

1. We started modernizing our brand image with a logo redesign and updated brand story.
2. We then designed and launched a new website with a better user experience.
3. We integrated our online booking systems to streamline with VRBO, HomeAway, Booking.com, Airbnb, and more.
4. We know you love beautiful photos, and so do we! So, we hired a photographer who knows what it means to be a guest looking for the perfect vacation spot and a property investor looking to keep their investment going strong.

We also noticed a trend: Many of you are enjoying the freedom of “working from anywhere” and choosing to book extended stays with us along the beach. WE LOVE HAVING YOU!

1. We ensured each property had a desk area to work and organize your virtual office.
2. We have been diligently working with the HOAs to upgrade Internet installations to accommodate virtual workers better.

Hi, I’m Laura Clayton — co-owner of Beach Condos in Destin, Realtor with World Impact Real Estate, full-time vacation rental nerd, and full-time mom-on-the-go. When I’m not helping guests find the perfect beachfront condo in Destin or Miramar Beach, I’m usually taking care of my two dogs, Lily (my terrier mix) and Ziggy (my standard Goldendoodle), or sitting at what feels like my 1,000th sporting event cheering on my kids, Reece and Liam. I love creating welcoming, pet-friendly spaces, coming up with slightly ridiculous beachy condo names, and making sure our homes feel comfortable, clean, and genuinely cared for. As a Realtor with World Impact Real Estate, I also help buyers and owners navigate the real estate side of beach living — whether that means purchasing an investment property, selling a condo, or maximizing rental potential while still keeping a place that feels like home.
